    Corporate Plant Pathologist, Ball Horticultural Company

    Colleen oversees the Applied and Molecular Plant Pathology Services laboratory at Ball's headquarters in West Chicago, Illinois. She and her team conduct applied pathology research, provide disease diagnostic services, and perform disease resistance screening in support of the breeding and production activities of the corporation. She's been perfecting her expertise in the detection, diagnosis, and management of diseases of floriculture and nursery crops through her experiences as an assistant professor of plant pathology and ornamentals extension specialist at North Carolina State University, as a floriculture and nursery advisor with the University of California-DANR, and for the past seven years, as a plant pathologist with Ball.
